Setting Attainable Goals for the New Year

I keep telling myself that I will accomplish outlandish goals for the new year, and then am disappointed when things don't work out exactly according to plan. My overall goal is to lose weight and build muscle, but I need to reframe it in my mind as building a healthier lifestyle so that it doesn't peter out over time.

Here are three attainable goals to a healthier lifestyle:

  • Bring lunch to work 2x/week
  • Log 25 minutes of cardio 3x/week
  • Body weight exercise: Two 1-min planks and one 2-min wall sit before bed 6x/week
