Self discipline

I have been eating much healthier and exercising for over a year now, so I know I can do it. I have been unable to loose weight, and now I understand how I was going about it all wrong.

I have been searching for information but very confused as everything I read was contradicted by another artcile. I feel like I now have the tools to continue my journey to creating a happy, longer life.

I began Bootcamp last year which was the first physical activity I have done with friends, I plan to continue again this year plus begin training with a personal trainer or outlay a plan and join the local gym if this does not workout.

I have created a journal to track things I have learnt along with calories because if I don't write things down I won't remember or stick to it.

My diet is not terrible, I just need to track my caloric intake + consume 132grams of protein per day (EEK!). I already aim for 60grams / day and achieve this most days, this will continue to be my minimum and I will gradually increase to 132?!
Previously I tracked my calories each day but it would fluctuate dramatically so I would give up, I plan to do this weekly now and allow that some days I will be hungrier than others.
I have kicked the habit of starving myself on busy days then overcompensating at night and mistaking thirst for hunger.
My biggest problem until now was figuring out how much/ when / what to eat and taking to heart people's criticisms about my diet. I will eat all the [email protected]&%ing "rabbit food" I want and now increase my protein intake.
