My friends Doug and Stacy have been making amazing, award-winning, nationally acclaimed salsa for years. Doug and I were talking one day, and we realized that we could be having a lot more fun with salsa if we did two things. First, we should come up with some really interesting recipes, using unconventional ingredients, and including peppers from around the world. Second, we should sell it online, where it's easier to find salsa enthusiasts.

We didn't want to be yet another boring salsa manufacturer, selling the exact same varieties of salsa next to chips in the supermarket. We want to be the Ben & Jerry's of salsa. We want people to be unsure of whether to invite outgoing friends over before they try their first bite. The difficult-to-classify nature of the salsa is summed up in its name:
