What kind of oil pastels did you work with? (I’m gathering some info for a new class) I’m impressed with how versatile oil pastels can be.

Oh, I'm glad to have inspired you! I enjoyed the Neopastels and the Senneliers for finishing up. I mostly painted on pastelbord and used a paper stump to blend. Can't wait to get back into it again! They really are a wonderful medium of expression. I tried oils, could not handle the mess. With OP's you can come back to it any time and don't have to worry about your pets getting into them! I look forward to your next class!

Thanks so much, your comments means a lot to me! This was challenging. i have never done a linocut block print before and had some trouble understanding how it was done. I will do more research about it before beginning the next block print. I had a bit of a learning curve trying to figure out how to go between the eraser and the paintbrush. I was puzzled by the fact that if you got them mixed up, or were on the wrong layer, nothing worked! So, part of one of the layers I actually drew on, and couldn't offset as well at the end due to the imperfections in the bottom layer. Lots to learn, it's fun though! We learn by our mistakes (usually! lol) Have a great day!
