SHADES OF ME - student project

Through my eyes I see the world as a mysterious place which consist of fine lines, blank spaces, white spaces, edges, color, light and darkness. As a person I am extremely observant and analytical and I tend to notice those charecteristics in people and in the world that are not too obvious at first glance.  I am inspired  by patterns and the various shades of emotions, life and charecteristics that exist in each of us - and I study these shades / patterns in myself. So my biggest inspiration is me- hence the title of this project "Shades of me". I'm not saying this in vanity, more so because I am instantly drawn to fashion / art / people / objects that I can identify with my own qualities / nature or charestics. Through the following pictures I shall give you an example of what I'm talking about. SHADES OF ME - image 1 - student project

Lost in thought: sadness? regret? aspiration? joy?dissapointment? When I look at the above picture- I can relate the state of mind she is in, she is pensive, deep in thought, analytical and introspective. And that is how is see myself processing everything in me and around me. I think we are all are a variety of thoughts and emotions all rolled up into one brain. When in front of the world we cant always display the pallette of thoughts and emotiongs we maybe feeling / thinking. But when left to ovrselfves we have the freedom to just be.. whatever it maybe.

The damzel in distress: All of us are beautiful inside and out, and yet how many of us question our beauty, spend hours focusing on how we could look prettier, be more impressive, have that perfect body that can pull it all together. And then... if there was someone who was looking at us fom afar (he/she) would be laughing to themselves wishing we knew what we already had was pretty darn wonderful!

The Eye of the Tiger: Come what may, I will stand tall and work my way, I am inspired by boldness, determination and a strong sense of self. It does not matter what the world says, what genetic make-up you were born with, put your mind to something and dont let the setbacks keep you from getting what you want.

And finally, I'm inspired by creativity, uniqueness and a vivid sense of life and color. Just as the picture above... there is something different about it compared to other runway images- it's got life and movement. It's not afraid to be rich in color and different in form or texture... and it all comes together gracefully! One of the most important things to remember- is to be unique and to be you! Thats the best thing about yourself.. dare to stand out, stand tall and rise above,

Thanks for reading!!! And trying to see a little bit of the world through my eyes, I hope this inspired you as much as it did me.
