VIRAL MAP FOR a crowdsourced website that targets weekend outdoors enthusiasts who would like to share their personalized routes/trails. These might be walking tours, bicycle trips, hikes, skiing routes etc. They will post pictures, write descriptions and generate routes (through google maps integration).

1. MAJOR PLAYERS

a. People interested in weekend outdoor activities
b. Prospective hikers etc.
c. Lifestyle Marketers


2. LIST OUT ANY SELFISH REASONS WHY EACH PLAYER WOULD LIKE THEIR CONTACTS/FRIENDS TO JOIN THE SERVICE

a. People who have gone on a trip would like to share the sights and their impressions of the route/trail

(#4) - Knowledge is power. And people who do different things and do them well would like to share their experience. It makes them feel powerful.

b. Prospective travelers would like to know the details of lesser known routes/trails
(#4) - Other people would like to know about cool things they can do -things that don't come to their minds readily.

c. Marketers of sports/leisure/lifestyle products and services will find a niche audience that they would like to target.
(#4) - a niche audience who will be very open to sales messages related to their weekend activities


3. LIST OUT ALL THINGS YOU COULD POSSIBLY CHARGE EACH PLAYER FOR THE SERVICE

a. Basic  subscription will be free. But premium services can be charged (thinking)

b. Basic subscription will be free. But premium services (like joining planned activity groups, access to specialized equipment/information etc) can be charged
(#4) - People pay for tour guides. This will be a service akin to that.

c. Marketers will be charged to access this audience with target advertisements, product trials, market research etc.
