Resting Fawn

Resting Fawn - student project

Ok, I was just playing around to see what I else I could add.  I don't know if it is as quiet with the orange flowers but I just thought they were such a pretty color!  :)  I don't know why but the colors aren't showing up the same on here...the look much more vibrant on my original.

Here's where I am at right now.  I don't have illustrator although now from seeing what it can do I want to get it.  I have been doing mine in photoshop elements.  I have been unable to figure out exactly how to do the textures the way he was teaching because elements is a bit more limited...but it is probably there and I just haven't found it.  But I did play around with some other of their simplified type of textures just to give the deer some more depth.  Ok, so your thoughts would be appreciated.  Is it good as is?  I feel like it might be missing something.  What does it need?

I went back and forth about if I should do loud or quiet.  I had a lot of different ideas for loud but none of them seemed to be translating on paper.  So, a little sleeping fawn popped in my head about something that is quiet and peaceful.  I got inspiration from different fawn photographs and came up with this.  Probably most of the page will be white or minimal to keep the page more "quiet".  Not entirely sure though.  Any feedback is helpful and appreciated!Resting Fawn - image 3 - student project
