Resilience pie chart and Thankful (in progress)

I haven't completed all the exercises but my favorite so far was the thankful drawing. I've been keeping a Happy Thoughts journal since I was in high school that includes little moments from my day that bring me joy. It was really fun to use a similar practice but then translate it into art! I still need to add color when I get home this weekend but I had fun doing the drawings for that one. Thinking about what I'm grateful for not only makes me appreciate the simple pleasures but it also makes me reflect on what kinds of things really bring joy to my life and what's really important to me.

I also enjoyed making the resilience pie chart because it was interesting to piece together all the challenges and difficult times that have made me stronger and become a part of me. Thank you Mari for a fun class! Resilience pie chart and Thankful (in progress) - image 2 - student project

P.S. I don't know why I can't seem to get the images to post upright. I've tried editing the original a couple times but no matter what, they always post this way. Any suggestions?
