Question 1: First of all, list your goals for learning or studying graphic design
My goals for taking this course learning is to take it as a refresher and have a job that will help me generate income. I want to reset my life, as I have just been floating through it for years. I have graduated with a 4-year multimedia arts course, and sad to say I didn't try to absorb as much as I can. That's why I'm taking this step to get control of my life.
Question 2: Research software you need to have I have access to Illustrator and Photoshop, but I might take a look at the Affinity products. I plan to master Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign to produce work efficiently.
Question 3: Research equipment and list what you need to purchase I am currently working with my 5-year old Macbook Pro with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator installed.
Question 4: Choose your desired work option
My dream was to work in an agency studio full-time (my wish is to work overseas), but due to traffic where I live and the COVID situation, I would want to work build my portfolio by working through freelance opportunities.
Question 5: Where will I get my work and studying done?
Fortunately, I have a home office in our apartment with my personal table that I can use.
Question 6: Finding places of community and inspiration
I'd like to participate with the community in Learn Design and Go Freelance Facebook group, and actively post in Behance and Dribbble.
