FINAL VIDEO VIGNETTE
Statement: “Learning with the environment and your routine situations.”
05B. Observations about the result
The result is a process, but I feel the potential to reach more precisely the points of "learn everywhere" and refine some characteristics of the video to improve understanding of the project:
*quality of shots and cut scenes;
*more accuracy about the place or what is going on;
*less writing and more graphic information;
05A. More adjustments
I wish could upload with more frequency during my experiments, but this weekend was to complicated.
When I reformulate the scenes of the video, I imagined a series of different places to engage a small part of time to learn something. Of course this particular video is from my routine to home from work, but this only the beginning to fit with others peoples routines...
04C. Time adjustments
I cut scene 3 and 4 from the script to fit into the time proposed and I changed the type of infographic described in the script to sound more interesting the information.
I think the new infographic about curiosity what you can do in the route of the train is more fun to engage the viewers.
04B. Concept board
04A. Tittle Change
I had to rename the project, because of a semantics problems. After I edited the video a few times to suit the time and the idea of "learning with the routine", I noticed that the tips presented in the video had more to do with the term "curiosity" and not to "daydreams". So I decide to update the name project.
The short story takes place in a train station, more precisely at the moment the waiting train. Using the camera as a viewer's point of view, different "graphical views" relating to routine appear during the wating. Transforming the wait an unpredictable way of learning things in a common day into a train station.
01. After making a list of events of a routine day, I realized that the story of the "pre-statement" was too "open and extensive", so I decided to edit the story just for the train station.
Main event list of the routine day
House: wake up, bathroom, bath, laundry, kitchen, bar, bathroom again, stuff, door, music play ...
Route 1: path, familiar people, places, strangers, station access ...
Train station: wait, conversations, shipping, stocking, route, stations, landing ...
Route 2: stairs, streets, square, large grassy area, slope, stairs, office ...
Office: greetings, chating, computer, planning, designing, tasks...
How many references come to your mind, when you wake up, see a strange person or cross the same street everyday?
In this video I will try to connect common experiences with references of our urban culture, pop, cinema, technology etc... the project ambition will be learn differently with the enviroment and situations of routine.
