RABBITMAN'S CLOTHING

With a humble start during the 1920's, in the backwoods of Georgia, Tom Springer made a living of hunting rabbits to bring into town and sell to the residents of Leesburg, Georgia. His son, Elijah Williams, would also tag along to learn some skills. After a while, Elijah would take on the name, "Little Rabbitman".

During the 1960's, Elijah opened a Shoe Shine Parlor in the heart of Albany, Georgia. During the Civil Rights Movement, he was forced to shut his parlor down and he marched for equal rights with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In the fall of 1986, Rev. Elijah Williams, would take the name and create an 'All-in-One" shoe store. After the passing of Rev. Elijah "Rabbitman" Williams, his children continue to run the business.

After 90 years, Tom Springer's moniker lives on with his great-grandchildren. It has been 25 years since the start of the Rabbitman's business and now the 4th generation will make the legacy continue.
