Quick tryout of the ABC trees

Quick tryout of the ABC trees - student project

I found the concept of using letters for making trees quite interesting and definitely what drew me into the class. However, what I really learned / was reminded of was making different nuances from only four colors together with a lovely way of making tree trunks. Though I'm still working on making the trunks just as soft or whimsical as Jen's.

First try out on cartridge paper, which really takes a lot of the color away: (sorry but I can't figure out how to turn the picture in skillshare, and the original file is the correct orientation.)

Second try out on water color paper:

Third try out on watercolor paper, and this time I remembered taking a picture of the naked tree too:

And the third one with leaves:

Thanks for a lovely class! :)
