Beginner Watercolor Techniques: Watercolor Seascape

Lovely! Dont be afraid to add darker layers of detail once you have the base layers down. Even just a touch darker in the lower sky and under the wave where its breaking would bring a bit more depth. I really like the movement and volume youve got in that wave! Thanks for sharing, Emily

Thanks Emily! Yes, I was surprised how light the color dried and was quite afraid of making it too dark so the picture looks a bit "washed out" - no pun intended. :) 

I added some more layers this morning and will post a version 2.
