Questioning my stories

My style under stress was violence.  I've learned that Mastering My Stories can help me question how I feel toward someone before I say something I'll regret later.  It can give me that crucial check point to ask myself if what I am basing my story off of toward that person is really true or not.  Even if it is true, I can respond calmer since asking questions can start getting blood back up to my brain.
