Oh, those.. I just used basic keyframe editing and masks. You have several youtube videos that can explain that. Also, a tip was to do a couple frames worth of "work" and them replicate the clips. If you look closely, that 2 seconds clip is merely a repetition (8 or 9 times) of the same very short sequence.
