Logo Design: Let the Type Do the Talking

Hey Joel,
Thanks for sharing what you have so far. I think the last one is a bit hard to read. I like that you are taking it in a new direction, but I think others would struggle to get it right away. From the top page I really like the one where the leg on the "R" goes underneath the rest of the word. I think you could play this up and even stack "Proto" and "Type" and have them interact together. I also like the one where the loop on the "P" swings out wide and the rest of the letters sit underneath it. I think you could keep pursuing those two directions. I think something cool would happen with those ideas.
