I had made galaxy/space art with acrylics before, but I enjoyed it so much more with watercolours!  I want scan this before I paint something more intentional on it because I might want to reuse it digitally as a background to different lettering projects...

I took a slightly different approach to creating my jellyfish and added layers of white on top of solid(ish) red silhouettes I painted first.  This gave the jellyfish a transluscent appearance and I loved painting them.

This exercise helped me improve my control so much.  I have been painting with acrylics since last May, but just started experimenting with watercolours about a month ago and so far had not figured out how to control them and thanks to Ana Victoriana, now I can!
