Project Example: Tree Badge

Project Example: Tree Badge - student project

For this badge I will draw a shield shape with a tree and a mountain. I will draw one half on the left and then reflect it to create the design.

First I draw the left side of the shield and then reflect it to make the main shape.

Then I draw the left side of the tree. These three pieces will be flipped to create the full tree. The trunk will also be copied and reflected.

After the tree is created, a shape is drawn on the shield to form the mountains. This shape uses negative space to imply a mountain peak.

Once the top shape is reflected, the badge is complete with the mountain, tree and sky.
