Portfolio by Annika Olsson

Hi everyone.

So I finally got my portfolio, for both my pattern collections created here on Skillshare, done.

Collection 1. Dreamy days inthe hammock
Collection 2. Morning on the farm

My inspiration for this portfolio, came from the mood board I made for my Dreamy Days pattern, and I pretty much just let it evolve from there. I love creating mock-ups, so they are a big part of my portfolio.

I'm pretty happy with my outcome and I'm in the process of creating a physical one I can have on my desk too. Just not sure I will get it done this time :-)

Anyway I hope you like it. This is the link to the portfolio:

Physical portfolio update:

My printer will not cooporate at this stage, to print the rest of the fabric like swatches. So this is just a glimpse of the materials, before put together, but not in time for challenge deadline. I will add pictures when done :-)

Physical portfolio update 02 (after challenge deadline):

So i finally got the printer to print all of my swatches :-) Yay!!, allthough a bit too late for deadline  I just felt they were important, because I loved the idea of being able to feel the fabric in the portfolio book.

My pages are prints on medium heavy paper, glued onto cardboard. Very simple, and all pages are held together with metal rings. I think I will, at a later time, have my pages printed with a coating to make it more durable, and add some nicer fabric samples to the book.

I have posted some pics of the process, materials and the final portfolio.

I think this book is a cool upgrade to my first very simple portfolio, the one Bonnie was nice to feature in her class, and I really like that I was able, to add two collections to this book. Pretty fun to see my work evolve that way :-)
