Playful and enjoyable fun! - student project

You know how sometimes you just want to play and discover new things? This class gives you that and even though I've used salt before in my work, I had never sat down and given it this much attention. So glad I have today!
I have definitely found a kindred spirit with Kate- my own classes emphasise thoroughly learning your materials and pushing them to new limits, and I loved that Kate had me doing the same by making swatches, notes, and variations on my techniques. I know I'm going to introduce some new textures in my work... and I need to buy flake salt! I have table and sea salt, but those flakes look so good for even more texture play!
