I'm a little late starting my project page. I've been watching some of the videos a couple of times to make sure I get the concepts.

This is my starting point:

I like pigeons, and this gives me the opportunity to play with colors.

As far as my "project" goes, I'm having fun outputting armies of tripped-out pigeons:

(The images are a bit crunchy. I obviously haven't gotten to the video about how to output your sketches!)

Started playing with HGridLayout. Toned down my color pool a bit. Took a few renders to tweak the color weighting. I'm not sure I'm in love with all of the combinations, but there are some really cool ones mixed in there.

I was kind of unhappy with the size of the pigeons, so I set out to make them larger. I didn't change all the numbers I was supposed to. What I ended up with was this:

which I think is kind of cool in a Japanese wave motif kind of way. Happy accidents!

This morning messed around with two pools of the same shape. I managed to flip one pool.

Then added a bit of random size and rotation.

And i fiddled with the colors AGAIN.

I've been rewatching some of the class sessions and experimenting with some things, mainly with how to make random Hype fills transparent. This is what I ended up with:
