Personal portfolio logo

Update 4 — April 27, 2014

I'm still not finding a design I like where the focus is my entire name, so I'm playing around again with keeping the initials as the focus and adding in my name. So far just using existing fonts.

And with some texture.

Update 3 — April 26, 2014

Trying a different direction with full name. Here's a basic outline I'm starting with.

Updade 2 — April 26, 2014

Finally getting back to this. I've been practicing vectoring with the basic initial logo, and this is what I've come up with so far. Now working on a design for a single-stroke full name that I could begin to play with.

Update 1 — March 18, 2014

I'm working on a logo for my personal portfolio — something that would be flexible enough to be part of a freelancer brand eventually. I like the idea of contrasting a vintage-ish logo with a modern business (web design), so that's my direction right now.

Here are a few preliminary sketches. I think I'm leaning toward the big capital EB (the one on the bottom left) with supplemental text surrounding it. However, I'm questioning whether the logo should more prominently incorporate my full name, rather than just my initials, since that's how clients would know me.
