People and Places in Film

Hey Frank,

Thanks for teaching the composition class. I definitely took away a few pointers for these photos that I've recently taken with my FM2. Hope to get some feedback from you!

The following 4 photos were taken in Georgetown Penang, an ex-colonial town that is slow rejuvenating to it's glorious past, becoming Malaysia's art and culture hub.

And the last photo taken from my time when I was studying in London.

"Abandoned" - This photo was taken when I was going for a morning in the old town area of Georgetown. The pair of worn out sandles in the photo was found at the front gate of an abandoned mansion.

"Peekaboo!" - I met a bird keeper bringing his bird for a stroll at an old british cemetry in Penang. He refused to have a photo of him taken, but I managed to fit him in the background when I lied to him that I'll only take a photo of his bird.

"After School Hours" - Also another abandoned building in Penang, except in this case this building used to be a well-known school in Georgetown. The two school buses parked next to it gives the picture a nostalgic effect.

"3 Generations" - They're actually not related to each other. Except for the two kids.

"Lines" - I chose this photo because the technique of using lines was covered in the class. Thought it'd be worth sharing my result applying this technique.

Thanks for viewing!
