Patterns are so fun!

Patterns are so fun! - student project

I'm still in the workshop by Cat, so I will keep on with the same theme and artwork of hearts,
...to be honest I'm not really a beginer with photoshop and CG goodies, but new methods to do things is always welcome, there's always another way! I ended up using all the tricks I had on this one.

Now the clean sheet with both OG combined, color booster to be closer to the original, background and splatter removed :

I've also vectorized them in illustrator, group them and saved as individual png assets for each individual heart. Now the fun part... Patterns Yippeeee!!!! I love doing patterns so much! And with all assets cut up clean and individually grouped, it's just so fast!

I've done sort of polkadots for almost every heart in the sheet, all of them look awesome!
Here is a few of the nice ones :

Of course, colorways are easy peasy with adjacent colors like those :Patterns are so fun! - image 5 - student project

I left them on transparent BG for now...

They look so pretty as fabric patterns :D

I know I could have taken a better watercolor work, but when I ask myself, would I wear that... I usually end up saying no when the motif is too complex and busy. Heart polkadot feels just right to me.
