Below is the updated Partystarters website with a few minor changes to the primary button on the top fold and some added background work on the header and information section. I decided that in order to look a little more like a festive party atmosphere, the website needed a little confetti (although annoying to clean up) :) I'm not 100% sure on the purple, but it was looking a little too mint to me, and with the purple picture background, purple was the best choice, it seemed!
Here is my first draft of my version of the Partystarters website. I used Meg's company idea for my website project because I liked the energetic nature of the company and the opportunity is provides to play with colors and different layout ideas.
This is my first attempt at website design...ever, so I apologize in advance if things look a bit rookie-ish (is that even a word?).
In my recent doodle notebook, I found inspriation in the form of rippling banner/flags that I had drawn while my husband and I watched hours and hours of Big Bang Theory. I decided to stick with something I enjoy and find visually appealing for my first try at a website.
I am still not 100% in love with the "Call to action" type button on the picture ("Please help me start my party"), so I have a few options that I'm playing with for that.
Please feel free to help me with any issues that are glaringly obvious to you pros out there!
