Ingredients of Paneer Butter Masala

FAT

  • 1 tbsp Butter

SPICES

  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds powder
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves (Kasoori methi)

BASE

  • 1 onion
  • 3 tomatoes

HERO

  • 100g Fried Paneer

FINISHING INGREDIENT

  • 1/4 cup fresh cream

STEPS INVOLVED

  1. Start by preparing the main ingredient. Fry the paneer to slight golden brown color
  2. In a pan, add some butter. Add in the onions and cook until they become translucent
  3. Add in the tomatoes and cook for another 8 mins until the tomatoes are cooked thoroughly. 
  4. Add in the spices and mix well. Cook for another 2 mins for the spices to blend nicely. 
  5. Add in quarter cup of cream and blend well. Simmer for another 2 mins
  6. Add in the paneer and let it soak in the gravy for another 5 mins. 
  7. Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish and serve with Rotis and rice.
