Outdoors-y Cool

For the first palette, I originally was thinking that a split complimentary color scheme would be a good scheme that would evoke modern, adventurous, and fun feelings. As I explored colors, and since I was avoiding the use of yellow (many of the competitors websites used yellow), I didn't find any split complimentary schemes that I liked. It was a helpful starting point that led me to the combination of warm reddish orange, muted blue, and minty green.

I was inspired by the green bike in front of the rustic wooden house for my second palette. To me, the colors in the photo evoked travel, handcrafted/bespoke work, and style. Although the colors are more muted, the green provides energy without looking out of place.
