Our honeymoon registry is a wedding gift registry for couples who would like their family and friends to contribute to their dream honeymoon.
I launched this site in early 2012 after doing something similar for my own wedding several years ago. The marketing and user acqusition strategy has always been via referral. Once a couple sign up to use the service, they in effect advertise it to all their friends.
Unfortunately I need an initial burst of customers to generate that momentum. I had high hopes that Facebook ads, with their abilty to target couples that are engaged would help, however I've had little success with this.
Looking forward to getting some more ideas and insights of other things to try!
