"Cool. Cause i wanna take some dope pictures. Maybe for the coming album? We should plan to shoot sometime." ........ And we shot right there.
With desklamps and flashlights, giant whiteboards and blank canvases, i turned the corner of my apartment into a mini bootleg studio. Shot my first set of portraits. Ever. Since then i developed a hunger for shooting portrait for emotion and story. Always admired Caravaggio and Rembrandt and decided to create my own version of chiaroscuro.
I'm hoping to learn a couple things in this class in terms of talent direction, lighting, angles and even some post production tips. Photoshop is great but would love to learn to avoid using it by increasing the raw quality of my photography. And i would love to do it all mostly in black & white. Here's some examples of my work.
