OneHandCan

Updated Jan, 31st 2013

My mom suffered a massive stroke when she was 52, leaving her in a wheel chair bound and without the use of her (dominant) left hand. She's okay mentally, but bored out of her mind, which is why I'm building this website for her.

She feels that, as a member of a community of people who are "sick" but aren't really, she's treated differently and wants to convey information and the idea that you can treat people with different abilities like normal human beings instead of avoiding them or treating them as if they are children. I hope this website will help her get that message out.

(Sorry I'm getting started late, just moved. I'll be struggling to get this done on time, but I'm up for it)
