This class was so much fun!
As inspiration for my project, I used Otomí embroidery. Mexican Indigenous women of all ages have been making this beautiful embroidery since the 60's. The most popular kind of embroidery is from a little town called Tenango in the state of Hidalgo, México. Based on this exquisite tradition, I made a pattern collection that represents Otomí embroidery. I love the bold colors and funky shapes.

I got a bit carried away and designed a full collection..
