Outline Link Here

Class Description:

Break into the world of visual storytelling!  In this class you will learn how to plan your visual story using the practice of story boarding.  This is a very practical tool that will help you plan your story from start to finish using dramatic angles, camera movements and actions that will get the point across for your cast and crew.  Join up and get started on your story today!

Class Project:

By the end of this class you will know all the necessities of story boarding and will use your new skills to plan out a sequence from your favorite story!  Take a few pages from a great book that inspires you and share the image that is created in your imagination!

You get to decide what the important elements are, what characters look like, where the camera goes, what it sees, and what key moments need to be seen.  Use camera movements like truck/track, dolly, zoom, tilt, pan, various angles and more to communicate what you see in your mind's eye.

Take C.S. Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien, Ray Bradbury and others, whoever inspires you, and turn their words into a mind-blowing visual tale!
