Web Designer / Developer / Creative Director / Owner

Responsible for general operations, sales and project management where I executed or delegated the roles of designing, planning, developing, launching and providing ongoing support and maintenance for clients’ websites, identity, company naming, print collateral, email marketing and search optimization.

  • Web Design and Development: Successfully designed elegant and delightful website visuals and experiences often around a content management system or ecommerce shopping cart software sometimes modifying a template and sometimes from scratch. Coded responsive themes for WordPress using Bootstrap 3.
  • Identity Design: Successfully named an internal project for Genentech with tagline and logos as well as designed logos for clients using an efficient process to simplify and streamline the creative process and client and team communication. Follows branding standards and guidelines for pre-existing logos and sometimes creates guidelines if they didn’t exist or improves them.
  • Creative Direction / Project Management: Managed and guided employees and contractors in complementary and diverse roles on larger projects. Reviewed and contributed on all designs. Selected and hired talent for copywriting, photography, design, data entry and development. Successfully reconciled relationship with pre-existing designer for a client on a new project.
  • Sales / Presenting Design Concepts / Consulting: Regularly secured all client projects. Presented custom designs to clientele for each project and communicated design vision and technical plan. Advised clients on best technical and/or design strategy to take within their budget.
  • Creative Problem Solving / Strategic Thinking: Successfully saved ~25 websites from deletion after a hosting vendor was discovered to be abandoning their business. Developed a tiered service offering to backup, restore, upgrade or redesign the clients’ websites which led to client reengagement, sales and a renewed trust in our services.

Photography Assistant / Photographer

Setup lights, loaded medium format film and Polaroid film backs, on location and in studio for events, weddings, parties, corporate headshots and product shots.

  • Collaboration / Teamwork: Supported lead photographer by handling the small technical tasks like loading film backs and taking light meter readings, setup, breakdown and getting releases briefed and signed as needed so they were more free to interact with the client and think about the creative work.
  • Creative Direction: Advised models and stylists on the set as needed to create results in line with the vision or direction for the shot.



An independent record company created to produce independent women musicians in Folk and Rock genres.

Music Producer

Production of "Wildfire" CD compilation and tour benefiting KPFA 94.1 FM including art direction, photography, web design, videography, promotions, copyright, licensing, and A&R.

  • Web Design and Development: Designed and Developed the ecommerce website for selling and promoting the “Wildfire” CD compilation and tour.
  • Creative Direction / Project Management: Sourced legal support, a graphic designer, a sound engineer, ~15 female musicians and a poet for the the “Wildfire” CD compilation and tour. Photographed each artist individually as well as additional concept art for the cover of the album. Managed the development, production and distribution.



A successful high tech marketing, advertising and public relations agency in the San Francisco Bay Area. Created award winning marketing/advertising programs that delivered results for over 100 companies including Palm, Cadence, Linear Technology, HP, ISSI and Micrel.
