I wanted my logo to express these things: happy vibrant Christian family fun love. I think this fits. I edited digitally to be on a white watercolor paper background and picked five colors for my branding theme which I am putting together. Do you like it?
the original artwork
The concept sketched digitally after real thumbnail doodles to come up with a concept. I knew I what I wanted to express and I knew I wanted a happy yellow sun. I like it but it was a lot of work updating all my internet presence everywhere and I am changing the brand colors before designing my new website
I am just now getting back into selling my art again and the business has really changed. I am locally represented by a gallery but have only sold one piece. I used to sell my artwork under the self representing category on eBay around 14 years ago, I did alright but then… life, right?
I had a hard drive crash and lost all my digital files from that time, client lists, artwork scans was devastating. Here is what I have learned: while my 14 year old was busy “friending “ everyone on social media in the last 10 years, I was only friends online with real life family and only the closest friends. Now I am trying to get exposure for my artwork and I am struggling to obtain more than 100 followers, my kid has thousands! Her selfies get hundreds of likes and my art gets 20! Haha, true! All that to say, if you like my art, would you consider supporting it by following me on Facebook/instagram/social media? It means a lot in the internet world!
