Ever since the 1st Explore Colour class, I've turned my Instagram account, dedicated to my artwork and website OctopusConnection.com,  into my own working color mood board.  By choosing different color palettes each month with the help of magazines, Pantone and Pinterest, my themes evolve continually.  I tweak the colors slightly so one them flows into the other on my feed.  My art and design projects have matured exponentially and, for the first time, seem to have some sort of relevance with the rest of the design world.  Even my black and white logo gets a color makeover each time.

Above is my December 2018 color palette with all new versions of holiday hues.  Red turned into burgundy, deep rose and light pink, while green turned into dark teal and sea foam. For a splash of whimsy, I added a coral, not knowing a similar version would become the 2019 Pantone Color of the Year.  Imagine my delight when it was announced!!!  : )

Below is my December artwork in presentation form via the Unfold app.  Thank you Claire for another wonderful class!!!

P.S.  The Facebook group is awesomeness!
