Nature in watercolour
What a great class to learn step by step to make a realistic painting. Watercolour is a difficult medium, I tend to overdo it, or forget the contrast. But these layeringtechniques are so helpful.
This was my first painting in this class. I'm not so sure about the purple lines around the flower.
In the next one (bamboo) I left this step behind.
