I'm the US Ambassador for Eco Femme (http://ecofemme.org/), and am now starting my own social enterprise (Natural Flow) to retail sustainable menstrual options and catalyze body empowerment.
Natural Flow aims to make cloth pads, reusable menstrual cups, and sea sponge tampons accessible to all who menstruate, while also shifting the conversation around menstruation and healthy body relationships via collaborating with existing intersections of gender & sustainability, as well as creating new spaces for dialogue and connection.
My 1st product: Eco Femme washable cloth pads, ethically made by women in Auroville, India. For every international sale, one pad is donated to a rural Indian woman through Eco Femme's menstrual education programs, Pad for Pad.
I have a lot of ideas and different needs for my site, so am slightly overwhelmed trying to wireframe, plan, and build the various facets of my site (starting only with those necessary for a 'good enough' initial launch).
Here's my existing practice website Homepage (as made via a Skillshare HTML & CSS course):
Here's my current try at a Homepage Makeover:
As I don't have Illustrator/Photoshop, and it doesn't seem like I can learn GIMP in a short period of time, I used a wireframing site to do a visual layout.
(Can also go here https://KimberleyDCS.hotgloo.com/wf/fe46c8aa, click on "Show Sidebar" at the bottom, and view the "Home - Color" and "Other Slider Content" pages.)
Then for the slider content:
That's what I have so far! Well, I have other ideas in my head (like for pictures that don't exist yet), but this is all I know how to represent at the moment.
I know it's rather word heavy and not exactly pretty, but it's a lot better than previous versions!!!
Also, the font here is just standard, but I'm planning to use more custom ones, like those I choose for my practice site already.
Plus there will be a Footer, and possible other panels before it, depending on content changes and better identifying what would be helpful (like testimonials scrolling at some point?).
All feedback greatly welcome and appreciated! Thank you for reading and commenting!!! :D
