Nate Tharp's temp˚ app

Nate Tharp's temp˚ app - student project

I'm a big fan of the basic weather apps like Blue, Solar, Shine (RIP), and Sun. But when I use them often find myself getting caught off guard by inclimite weather because they're so focused on the weather right now. In my app I'm hoping to maintain the simple aesthetic, and shift the focus to the near future. There is an extended forecast on the main screen and easy acess to more detailed information for both the current and upcoming days.

(Sorry for the unreadable scribbles. They're mostly notes to myself, not necessarily descriptions for reviewers.)

UPDATE 4/17: Two new screens that make it easier to add new cities. On the left is the last/third page of the list of cities. On the right is the Preferences screen.

Update 4/22: Created some wireframes, refined the screens a bit, and reorganized some of the information. The icons are from the Symbolicons weather set, if anyone is interested. The screens are as follows:

  1. Load Screen
  2. Forecast
  3. Single-day details
  4. Locations list, first page
  5. Locations list, last page
  6. Preferences
