My morning routine July 2015

I don't consider myself a morning person. I always snooze, and like to stay in bed as much as possible. The problem is that I tend to arrive late to school. However, at the end of June I started working (an internship) in a publishing company in my city. I start at 9 o'clock, and the problem is that I have a 45 minuts journey from home to work, and I don't want to arrive late to my first job ever.

What happened during university/school time is that when I knew I was arriving late I felt bad with myself, I felt stressed and then at class I was worried and didn't enjoy the class. So, what I want to achieve with this morning routine is to have some peace, feel good with myself and start the day with positive energy.

The plan is:

  1. 7:00am - Wake up, go to the bathroom and wash my face (5')
  2. 7:05am - Do some light stretches (10')
  3. 7:15am - Have breakfast (15')
  4. 7:30am - Journaling (10')
  5. 7:40am - Make bed and get dressed (10')
  6. 7:50am - Make-up and hair (10')
  7. 8:00am - Check social networks (10')

I leave home at 8:10-15 and now I have my alarm set up at 7:30, but I always end up sleeping more. I still haven't tried it, so the timing might chance.
