My logo and branding for my Scandi kids shop

This is how thing turned out. Below you can watch my process of choosing colors and fonts etc.

A little video I made for the shop with the branding.

The color-schemes I worked with and which I used as a mood-board for my brand colors.

Some try-outs for my logo.

a4a1e1e48a530a91Hello! I am branding my Scandi style printables shop! I will sell printable Scandinavian style art prints on Etsy. I have been selling digital downloads for a while but will open a new shop super-nished just for Scandi nursey art. I hope it will be fun and go well. Etsy is always a gamble :-) My shop is target towards expecting moms decorating their baby nooks or nursery. I want to embrace the joy of decorating and waiting for the baby. I love pastels a lot and had a hard time finding logos with a pastel vibe. I guess people expect black and white logos! :-D I went for a mood board with pastel blue tones. I love having my colors baby blue, soft yellow, gray and white (a bit like the Flyaway but without the gold).

After deliberations, I went for a super simple logo with the typeface Funky disco with a large spacing between the letters. In Scandi design you often see dots (like everywhere), it is simple, clean and suitable for kids interiors. I muted it to my gray color as black is to harsh for my logo as I often do things in muted colors and pastel. Black will be to harsh in a logo for my brand I think (in my thought)  It turns out messy if I add any objects, as the type itself is very decorative.  As my target market is moms on maternity leave I thought my price range is low to mid. My products are printables so I guess it is not "high-end" how-ever I turn things around! :-D Please let me know what you think!

I have a little hard time knowing if I should go with all blue or incorporate pink too as I target women. I want to have baby colors that suits the Scandi style.

Well, now I have finished my branding process (so far at least). I have opened my new Etsy shop - please come and take a look and say what you think! :-)
