For my first shoot, I wanted to do something with blackberries; my favorite fruit! With it being a naturally dark fruit, I wanted to challenge myself and create a story with them.

Growing up, we had blackberry bushes on one of our fence lines. My brother and I would go pick them and hang out there for hours. I wanted to include a few older books and some greenery in the background to further convey that feeling. I also utilized a natural wood table that sits beside a large sliding glass door where diffused sunlight streams in.
