My Morning Routine!

Before this class I had a morning routine where I would grab a caffeinated beverage, write in my journal, go through my to-do list and the binder I started in another class, and read a little from a self help book.  Because starting this morning routine had helped me tremendously, the title of this class caught my eye.  Since watching the first video, I have added drinking a glass of water (which I don't drink enough of during the day...I'm a soda addict!), a small amount of ad libbed exercise, and then meditation before doing my previous morning routine. I have had a noticeable change in my mood since then.  I am happier during the day, and in turn, I am much more productive.  I look forward to my mornings and to the day ahead.  I still drink caffeine in the morning, and the exerice and mediatation I do only take about 5 minutes each, but it is a start.  I plan on easing into exercise and meditation, two things I have neglected over the years, because I know myself.  If I start with a rigid expectation, it is only a matter of time before I quit.  I am in this for the long haul, so I will add more time and expectations as I go.  As long as the routine is working well for me thats all that matters!
