My Fishery

My Fishery - student project

Why these objects?

These objects are my nice childhood memories. Like the fishing net, the netting needle, the boat, the bucket. I've learned net knitting from my dad, and it was pretty hard to make a proper fishing net with such small child-hands. :)

My quote is one of the riddles from Hobbit:

“Alive without breath,
As cold as death;
Never thirsty, ever drinking,
All in mail never clinking.”

― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit

Thanks Tom for this very exciting class!
Also kudos to every classmates, I've learned a lot from you. :)

My process begins

1. Started sketching...

2. The great moment when I excitedly grab the nib pen.

And the brushes...
