My First-Ever (and second) Seamless Pattern

My First-Ever (and second) Seamless Pattern - student project

I enjoyed the class so much, I decided to try it again, making Christmas ornaments I’d drawn.

There are a few things I’d do differently if I had done it by hand — but I’m still learning, so I think I will “see” better with more practice.

This was the first time I ever attempted to create a pattern.  I really enjoyed the process because Cat is an EXCELLENT teacher. She goes fast, and covers a lot of ground, but you can always pause and rewind, and she doesn’t skip important details! You always know what layer you are on, or should be on! Cat describes the artistic reasons, as well as the tech reasons so you rarely develop questions in your head before she answers them. My First-Ever (and second) Seamless Pattern - image 3 - student projectMy First-Ever (and second) Seamless Pattern - image 4 - student projectMy First-Ever (and second) Seamless Pattern - image 5 - student projectMy First-Ever (and second) Seamless Pattern - image 6 - student projectMy First-Ever (and second) Seamless Pattern - image 7 - student projectMy First-Ever (and second) Seamless Pattern - image 8 - student project
