My Creative State of Mind

So I tried the simple breathing exercise while I was working. I was getting frustrated with all of the detail work that I had to do and really just needed a break. I didn't necessarily have to switch into creative mode, but I did need a time-out.

All I did was stop my main work, sat upright in my chair, closed my eyes, and focused on my breathing, with taking shorter breaths in and longer out. I did this for about 3-4 minutes and I was instantly relaxed.

After that, I felt reinvigorated, and I was able to finish up the detail work for my job with no difficulties at all. I think this just helped me refocus myself and gave my analytical brain the break it needed!
