My Aloe Vera Plant Had 25 Pups!

Hi Everyone,

My aloe vera plant had 25 separate and distinct pups this year.  I wasn't sure what to do with them at first but they seemed to be feeding off of the mother plant.  I looked the situation up on the Internet and found this Skillshare class.  I learned that they could pulled out of the soil easily enough and that this would not hurt the mother or pups at all.

I then repotted all of the pups into single small clay pots (about $.49 each with saucers) using a cactus formula soil and using pebbles I had leftover from filling in spots on my driveway.  I dipped the roots into a bit of rooting compound before planting.

I had so many pants that I gave more than half away to neighborhood kids so they could learn to care for them.  The ones I have left over are on a south-facing window sill in my kitchen where they can get the maximum amount of sunlight per day.  I water after letting the soil dry out a bit.

I'm happy to report that mom (who's on my back porch in the sunlight) seems to be doing much better and the pups are doing fine.
