Mueble

I decided to focus my project on furniture. I have a friend who recently rediscovered himself as a good wood worker and he is making some really minimal yet rough and manly wood furniture and he might need a logo and tags sometime soon. I thought it would be nice to work with brass and leather and brand directly on the wood the things he is making.

Update 4:

ok, I changed my mind, I had a little brainstorming with my friend and both decided to focus on something less istracting and with more impact, so, here's the result:

And the tags we will attach to his furniture pieces:

Update 3:

I decided to focus on the round logo and decided to try and give it a rough feeling in contrast with the minimal design of the furniture. I retraced the pencil logo first in Photoshop, then in Illustrator (you know, resizing is important! :) )

I decided to trace the logo first with a brush in Photoshop, then I gave it a splash of autotrace in Illustrator, in order to mantain the messiness of it (what I am posting here is the Photoshop version of it)

Update 2:

Here are two new sketches, I decided to focus on the round one I posted in the previous update and make it look more "masculine", then I tried another way to develop the logo in a more simple and concise way, hence a simple lettering mark. I'm eager to know what you think about these designs! :)

Update:

aww yeah i know, such a long time has passed since i posted this but i have been having really busy days around, so, these are my first sketches - i include even one which is kind of more "feminine", but my friend liked it so.. here it is!

Here below is my moodboard:

Soon I'll be updating with sketches, but any feedback is welcome, of course!
