I really enjoyed going through this class! Thanks so much!

For the prompt, I wanted to go with a mountain scene that was serene. But I also wanted it to be a bit whimsical, not too realistic.

Here is my work from the beginning of the process:

I honestly struggled to decide which thumbnail I wanted to move forward with. I ended up choosing the top left option, which I knew would be challenging. Why? Because it’s a night scene! I’ve never really done that before, and I felt like choosing colors would be tough.... which it was, haha. But I’m thankful for the ways that Sarah showed us how to adjust the colors in procreate. I was able to find something I really liked just by playing around with the hue, saturdation, and brightness.

And somehow.... someway, I ended up with a final piece. With a LOT of trial and error. I keep going between thinking it looks great to thinking there are so many areas to improve on. But the thing about art is that it’s a journey! And I know I’ll be even more equipped when I take on my next environment!!
