Introduction to Designing Repeat Patterns in Illustrator

Wonderful job, Luciana! Your main pattern is great! You mentioned you might address colour -- and the only thing I would add to that is this: the centre of the main / largest pink focal flower - the centre detail (in a slightly darker colour) is getting a bit lost. It's just a matter of contrast -- i think bumping up the contrast between the two pinks would be successful. And the little acorn -- the black and the dark red/pink almost seem too close in colour, so they're getting a bit muddled together. It's also small so that is contributing -- either create more of a contrast between them, or perhaps an increase in scale would help too. Bravo for taking the extra step with creating coordinates!

Your coloured floral elements look super cute from what I see so far! The colours look nice there, but I always try to focus on colour at the end of the process, when I've got the 'bones' (structure) of the pattern working well. There are already so many factors to contend with so I try and focus on one thing at a time. Plus, patterns are often made in multiple colourways, so its a factor that can change again and again, while the structure remains the same. Have fun!!

Adding colors and starting the pattern. I love colors but decide which colors should I pick is really&nbsp;difficult for me!!!
