My starting point for designing a logo for myself was to use my initials and connect them like I have been signing my initials for years. However, I don't know if this enough to stand out...or which one works better? I would apprecitate feedback!

After some feedback from friends I have decided on the logo below in those color options. I have also added another option in case I want a more feminine option, or I want to show use my whole name. Do these go together or should I stick with one or the other?
